Love Is Blind fans watched in disbelief as Andrew Y. Liu appeared to fake cry on set after being dumped by Nancy Rodriguez.
While filming, 30-year-old Andrew put eye drops in his eyes, which then ran down his face as he spoke about his frustration at the rejected offer.
He said, “Is that okay?” to the producers, who replied that it was when he needed to treat his “dry eyes.”

In the new Netflix series, viewers saw Nancy, 32, have to choose between Andrew and Bartiz Bowden, 27, who both claimed to be in love with her.
Rejecting Andrew, he filled his eyes with drops, cried, and said, “I never thought I could care for someone who could make me cry.”
Over the weekend, Andrew took to Instagram Stories to respond to the viral moment, joking: “You guys could have at least edited out the pimple.”

He then retweeted fan reactions to the scene, including a meme from Impractical Jokers that hinted that the producers let him use eye drops to fake the emotion but didn’t tell him the moment would make the final cut.
He simply said, “I can neither confirm nor deny because of my contract. How unfortunate.”
Viewers of the show took to Twitter and wrote: “One of the #LoveIsBlind producers trained Andrew and made sure the clip of him fake crying made it into the final cut.”
Oh! Fans were quick to say something about the weird moment, calling Andrew an ‘absolute psychopath’
