Organized by Mid and East Antrim District Council, the event takes place on Sunday (October 30) from 2pm to 4.30pm and is part of the annual Larne Festival of Arts.

A local authority spokesman said: “Members of the public can watch artists create incredible works of art. There is a fantastic line-up of artists including FGB, Emic, Codo, Wee Nuls, Alana McDowell and Rob Hilken. DJ Mark Dobbin will also perform in what promises to be a fun night of creativity.

“During August and September, various art workshops also took place as part of the Larne Arts Festival. Over 200 people of all ages took part in learning new skills in a variety of art forms in a wide range of innovative workshops.

The council partnered with members of the Larne Renovation Generation to help run a street art workshop with Year 13 Art students from Larne Grammar.

“In addition, the council, in partnership with members of the Larne Renovation Generation, helped run a street art workshop with Year 13 Art students from Larne Grammar. During the two-hour art session, the students learned a special graffiti technique and created amazing works.’

Mayor of Mid and East Antrim, Ald Noel Williams, added: “This year’s festival was a huge success, leaving a lasting creative legacy in the Larne area through education, supporting local artists, performers, musicians and writers and improving the town center environment. Well done to all the participants.”
