Polestar has unveiled the latest addition to its Polestar 3 lineup: the Long Range Single Motor. This rear-wheel drive variant offers an attractive entry point at EUR 79,890 (including the handover fee) and is available to order in Europe starting today, with North America and Australia to follow later in 2024.

The Long Range Single Motor boasts an impressive WLTP-estimated driving range of up to 650 km on a single charge, thanks to the same potent 111 kWh battery pack found in the Dual Motor version. DC fast-charging capability remains unchanged, allowing a quick 10-80% charge in just 30 minutes at compatible stations.
Despite its single-motor setup, performance remains a focus for Polestar. The Long Range Single Motor produces a healthy 220 kW and 490 Nm of torque, launching the car from 0-100 km/h in a respectable 7.8 seconds. Ample stopping power is ensured by the proven Brembo braking system equipped across the Polestar 3 lineup.
For those seeking even more power, the Polestar 3 also comes in a Dual Motor configuration. This all-wheel-drive option prioritizes exhilarating performance without compromising on range. Depending on the chosen Performance Pack, the Dual Motor delivers either 360 kW (489 hp) and 840 Nm of torque or 380 kW (517 hp) and 910 Nm of torque. This translates to a blistering 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 4.7 seconds (Performance Pack).
Both Dual Motor options boast an impressive WLTP-estimated range, with figures varying depending on the chosen Performance Pack. The standard Dual Motor offers a targeted range, while the Performance Pack prioritizes power delivery over absolute range.
