Kyle Sandilands and Tegan Kynaston are expecting their second child

Kyle Sandilands and his fiancee, Tegan Kynaston, discussed having a second child just two months after giving birth to son Otto.

The 51-year-old radio host said on Tuesday that he would like to have a second child with the communications executive, but they have some reservations.

“We discussed that there would be another one over the weekend. But just because the first child was a breeze doesn’t mean the second one will be,” he continued The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

His co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, who is mum to 11-year-old Kitty, told Kyle she had heard from other mums that a second child is often more work than a first.

“Most people say if you have a good first, the second is going to be hard work,” she said.

Jackie then suggested that having a second child as soon as possible might make things easier if they went back-to-back.

It comes after Kyle recently admitted that he had never dreamed of having children before, but was now “delighted” to have decided to take the plunge and become a father.

At the height of his partying in the late 2000s, the KMIS FM host suffered from drug addiction and battled depression.

The controversy magnet, who was once warned by doctors that his lifestyle would lead him to the grave, spends his nights these days worrying about his newborn son.

“We discussed that there would be another one at the weekend. But just because the first baby was a breeze doesn’t mean the second one will be,” he said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show

“I used to watch TV for hours and now I’m just sitting there watching it and it’s really been a joy,” he told Daily Mail Australia.

Although fatherhood has mellowed him out, the outspoken star promises viewers won’t see a politically correct Kyle when he returns to screens as a judge in the upcoming Australian Idol reboot.

“Oh my god, are you kidding me?” he scoffed when asked if he’d let the current culture wake up to stifle his famously unfiltered personality on the family show.
