In recent weeks, Bella has spoken out on social media about the current protests in Iran following the death of a young woman who died after being arrested by moral police.
She shared several messages from human rights activist and designer Celine Semaine Vernon, including her own passionate message.
After news of the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, women across the Islamic Republic are burning their hijabs, the Iranian government-mandated headgear, and cutting their hair.
“Our sisters are being killed for the right to be. The right to exist in all freedom, she wrote, “the freedom to choose one’s sovereignty over one’s own body.” Unarmed, facing the police and their weapons. How can women make a militarized dominant majority so threatening and dangerous?”

“You cannot afford to lose sensitivity to how human life is taken. You just can’t. A Palestinian life is a life that will help change the world. And they are taken from us second. #FreePalestine.’

Qatar has faced intense scrutiny of physical and contractual conditions for hundreds of thousands of migrant workers in the tiny emirate since winning the rights to host the World Cup 12 years ago.
It is not yet known how much time World Cup broadcasters will spend covering the allegations against the Qatari government, including claims by The Guardian in 2013 that workers were denied food, water and passports.
Some claim they were not paid, and if they were, the payments were minimal and long overdue. A Daily Mirror investigation in 2019 found that 28,000 workers were paid about $1 an hour in a 48-hour week.
Worst of all, in 2015 The Wall Street Journal reported that more than 1,200 workers had died building infrastructure for the tournament. Last year, The Guardian put the figure at closer to 6,500.

Meanwhile, David has penned a £10million deal to be the country’s ambassador for ten years, which will see him become the face of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
