The PSNI said “nothing untoward” was found following a security alert outside a school in Strabane.
Olice received a report of a “suspicious object” in the Melmount Road area of Strabane just after 7.35am on Wednesday.
They arrived at the scene and examined the item, which did not reveal anything untoward.
The College of the Holy Cross posted a security alert on social media Wednesday morning.
The school later confirmed it had reopened for students.
However, in the comments under the post, parents complained that it was too late, as the children were brought home by bus.
