Watch Blue Ivy Carter Bid Over $80,000 at Art Auction

Blue Ivy Carter not afraid to invest big money.

At the 2022 Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles on October 22, the 10-year-old participated in a luxury auction where she competed for the highest ticket of the evening.

In the video published from the event, the 10-year-old is under the supervision of her parents Beyonce and Jay-Z— bidding more than $80,000 on a pair of diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz, her grandmother and event organizer Tina Knowles was worn in the evening once owned by the “Single Ladies” singer.

Blue Ivy, who wore a blue cracker-style look with strings of pearls and a feathered headband, eventually lost to the founder Mielle Organics Monique Rodriguez and husband Melvinwhose winning bid was $105,000.

The gala’s theme was Harlem Nights, celebrating fashion from the 1920s to the 1950s. Beyoncé wore a strapless Gucci mermaid dress with star detailing on the bust. She completed the glamorous look with pink opera gloves with ruffles on the shoulder, a pair of Lorraine Schwartz earrings and a Dolce & Gabbana clutch.
