Ben Fagin, who worked as an executive producer on the sitcom Sheets Creek, died on Monday at the age of 47.

The Amy The award winner died of complications from pancreatic cancer, Deadline reported. He was instrumental in the creation of the show.

The publication also reported that he was the initiator of a number of exciting marketing strategies for the show.

Fagin was born in Silver Spring, Maryland, and attended the University of California, Santa Barbara.
