A pedestrian was involved in a crash Sunday evening in Medford, Massachusetts, officials said.
A spokesman for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation confirmed that there were serious injuries following the crash.
Middlesex Avenue is closed from Riverside Avenue to Felsway and traffic is detoured between 300-340 Middlesex Avenue, Jacqueline Godard of MassDOTd said on Twitter.
Pictures from the scene show the accident happened nearby Wendy’s located at 330 Middlesex Avenue.
NBC10 Boston has reached out to Medford Police for more information, but has not yet heard back.
