Jacob Rees-Mogg has resigned from the authorities – a hint Twitter to recall all his best jokes about the former minister.

Rees-Mogg, a controversial figure in the House of Commons, known for some of his outlandish comments and Euroscepticismhas been on the back burner for years until Boris Johnson took him into the office.

He served as leader of the House of Commons before moving up to become Brexit capacity and effectiveness of the government minister in February this year.

Under Liz Trusshe became secretary for business, energy and industrial strategy, a post he held for less than two months.

A great ally of Truss and Johnson, it’s no surprise that Rees-Mogg exited the new government ahead of the new prime minister Rishi Sunak reshuffled the Cabinet of Ministers.

Rees-Mogg swore that Johnson was going to get his name out there to become the next prime minister shortly before Johnson withdrew from the race.

Rees-Mogg also reversed his earlier criticism of Sunak only on Tuesday morning (once it became clear that Sunak would be the next premier).

He told The Telegraph about it he no longer thinks that Sunak is a “socialist” and that he would be willing to serve in his cabinet in the name of Tory unity.

Only in July he announced that he would not serve Sunak’s office even if he had won that leadership contest, saying: “I think his behavior towards Boris Johnson, his disloyalty, means I couldn’t support him and he wouldn’t want me in his cabinet anyway.” .

Sunak is seen by many Johnson supporters as the cabinet minister who helped oust the former prime minister back in July. by resigning and undermining his authority.

So Twitter wasted no time mocking Rees-Mogg, who has gone viral several times in the past.

He was once depicted lying down with his feet up on the first benches of the House of Commons – a memory that none of his critics forget.

Others remembered how Rees-Mogg allegedly left notes on the desks of civil servants, encouraging them to return to the office.

He was also mocked for trying to find – and exploit – the benefits of Brexit discount on fish fingers as an example – despite the fact that he is one of the most outstanding Brexiteers Art Conservative Party.

Then there were those who took aim at his traditionalist politics…

…And speculation about whether he would even be welcome in Sunak’s cabinet, especially since he has been one of the most outspoken critics of the new prime ministers.
