On November 5th, there is a bonfire and fireworks in Banchory.

The event was organized in Banchory and the District Round Table, which is a voluntary organization whose main mission is to support local charities, with all profits from the event going to charitable causes in the Banchory area.

The event was a huge success last year with around 4,000 people attending and £8,000 going back to local charities and good causes.

Admission is free with donations requested on the night. Gates open at 6pm, bonfire is lit at 6.30pm and fireworks at 7pm.

Alan Clough, managing director of Bancon Homes, said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the bonfires and fireworks in Banchory again this year.

“It was a fantastic success last year and we are delighted to not only help bring the community together in these uncertain times, but also to support Banchory and the District Round Table, as well as the various charities that will benefit from the event.”

Banchory and the District Round Table said: “We are delighted to have Bancon Homes return as a sponsor of our event for the second year running.

“This event is our main fundraising event of the year, raising much needed money which we put back into the local community and local charities. It’s amazing to have the support of local businesses in hosting this popular event.”
