A yellow rain warning has been put in place for five counties, effective Tuesday afternoon.
Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow and Waterford are under a warning, with Met Éireann warning of heavy rain in the evening and overnight.
The warning will begin at 4:00 p.m. and last until 11:30 p.m.

Conditions will not be much better in other parts of the county as cloudy and humid conditioned to prevail.
Wednesday morning, which starts with bright days, will change to cloudy, in the coming days the temperature will be 14-17 degrees.
