New Delhi [India]May 25 (ANI): Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia met on Tuesday with Cambridge University faculty to discuss the current partnership and explore new ways to strengthen ties.

The meeting was part of the Deputy Prime Minister’s current visit to the United Kingdom at the 2022 World Education Forum.

Speaking at the forum, Manis Sisodia said: “It was a pleasure to share the Delhi education model with education ministers and experts from 122 countries at the 2022 World Education Forum. I am excited to see people’s growing interest in learning in our education model and reform. Going into the details of the purpose of his visit to Cambridge University, Sisodia added: “Our ongoing collaboration with Cambridge University in the training of principals has helped us create a positive environment in schools and introduce better administrative practices.” to help turn our vision into reality.We are constantly training our faculty to improve their teaching skills and relationships with students by sending them to higher education institutions across India and abroad such as Cambridge University, educational institutions in Finland and Singapore for professional Sisodia also discussed the idea of ​​developing a joint certification course between the University of Cambridge and the Delhi University of Teacher Education in the field of school leadership, curriculum development and other related fields.

It should be noted that between 2016 and 2021, about 354 officials, principals and faculty members visited Cambridge University to study in 12 groups, and the next group is scheduled to visit Cambridge from 19 to 28 June 2022.

During the training, which was developed by the Delhi government in conjunction with Judge Business School, Cambridge University, school principals can visit local schools, communicate with senior principals and observe teaching methods.

The Deputy Chief Minister also visited Chesterton Community College at Cambridge University, which is one of the schools visited by Delhi government school principals to understand leadership issues as part of their training.

The Sisodia briefed Cambridge teachers on the Delhi government’s groundbreaking curricula on “Happiness, Deshbhakti and Entrepreneurship” that have been introduced in public schools to improve emotional well-being, emotional learning and encourage entrepreneurial thinking. (ANI)
