She wrote: “For the last 3 years of Muay Thai training, I have avoided sparring at all costs. Being in an abusive relationship at a young stage of my life, the thought of being hit was especially evocative for me.
“Every time I tried to pair up, I literally walked and cried in the gym restroom. Over time, I developed a complex about this and decided it was just not for me.
I started practicing Muay Thai to feel strong and empowered. That’s why I started, I never plan to fight, but I want to show the girls that you can train without being a fighter. But now I also want to overcome my fears and sparring anxiety.

“It’s so good and you see how happy I am after the workouts! I got about 20 new injuries, my body is in agony, but I feel the best for a long time! ”
