This week, World Boxing News caught up with Erickson Lubin to evaluate his thoughts on returning to the ring friend Adrian Broner.
WBN also asked Lubin about how he reflects on his recent failure with Sebastian Fundora and his plans for the future.
First, Lubin said that Adrienne Broner contacted him afterwards.
“I am very friendly with Adrian. He was impressed by my speech, and his message meant a lot to me, because we have a great friendship, ”Lubin told World Boxing News exclusively.
About whether he believes AB can return to the top of the sport after his problems. Lubin replied: “I think he is super-talented.
“Adrienne Broner can achieve anything she plans right now. He can definitely bounce back. ”
Pressing on whether he believes Broner should be on the 140th, given his loss in the 147th, Lubin said: “I think he should be on the 140th.
“It’s a weight at which he can make a lot of noise [if he makes the weight]. Perhaps he can take over his weight category. It’s hard at 140, but it handles perfectly.
ERIKSAN LUBIN THE FUTURE
This is how the next part of the interview with Lubin went.
WBN: You talked to Fundora after the fight, and what did you say to each other?
“We said little. All we told each other was that it was a big fight, and maybe we can fight again in the future. ”
WBN: How do you feel about the talk on social media that Fundora is too tall to be allowed to participate in 154?
“I feel that if he gains weight, he can fight wherever he wants.”
WBN: Do you think Fundora could bother Charlo if they fought?
“I think he brings trouble to anyone because of his height and distance. It has a good engine and strikes a lot of blows. He would give anyone a good, hard fight. “
WBN: If you were hoping to come back, and would you think of lifting weights?
“I plan to return at the end of the year. I don’t move in weight. I am comfortable earning 154 pounds. I have to become a champion in my weight class before moving up. ”
Erickson Lubin struggling to get back there and prove himself again. As for Broner, he has to fight later in the summer.
