Celeste Barber is moving on from her feud with Tammy Hembrow with a new parody

Celeste Barber has released a new parody video poking fun at the flexible influencer following her recent spat with the fitness queen Tammy Hembrow.

The 40-year-old humorist on Instagram made her followers laugh on Tuesday by trying – and failing – to recreate the complex yoga poses of a Portuguese woman named Marin.

She posted a video of a marine wearing a green leotard stretching easily in a narrow hallway, juxtaposed with a video of her in a black swimsuit contorting her body awkwardly in a hotel room.

Celeste captioned her video: “Please enjoy this performance piece I’ve worked tirelessly on.” Entitled “Square Peg, Round Hole.”

Marin took the video as a compliment, sharing it on her Stories and saying: “When Celeste Barber reposts you. She made my day.”

It comes after fans tuned into Celeste when she recently criticized Tammy, 28, for showing off her toned post-baby body.

In an Instagram post dated June 30, Tammy showed off her toned body in a sports outfit just 12 days after giving birth, saying she’s been staying as active as possible during and after her pregnancy.

The social media star went on to emphasize that everyone’s journey is different and people should not compare themselves to others.

Celeste later retweeted Tammy’s video, saying it was “dangerous” to flaunt a toned body so soon after pregnancy to “prove a point”.

The funnywoman, who has two young sons with her husband Api Robin, said her post-natal experience included her “f***ing in my bag and screaming into my pillow”.

Fans clapped back and accused her of not being body positive, while others pointed out that she made a career out of mocking other women.

She [parodies] women are fit and living healthy lives like Tammy, but because it’s through a comedic lens, everyone allows it to happen.’

Tammy welcomed daughter Posie last month with her Ironman fiancé Matt Poole.

She is also mother to six-year-old Wolff and five-year-old daughter Saskia from a previous relationship.
