A cloud-based video editing platform Blackbird appointed Sumit Rai as its Chief Product Officer.

A company that recently received the Queen’s Award for Entrepreneurshipsaid Paradise to join next month with VEGAS Creative Software, where he plays the same role.

He has more than 23 years of leadership experience in the video and film industries. Starting with the role of visual effects and video editor in news, children’s television and film, Rai has reached out to Pukka Films ’chief technology officer, developing an innovative, award-winning production before founding Kulu Valley.

Introducing corporate video distribution platforms for Tier 1 organizations, Kulu Valley was acquired by Qumu in 2014, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer and Product Director.
