Enraged, Alison Langdon denies reports that she “started a tantrum” when she was not elected to cover Nine’s election night – when her co-host Karl Stefanovich jumps in to defend her today.

Today’s host of the show, Alison Langdon, responded to allegations that she “launched a tantrum” after Channel Nine failed to spot her in coverage on election night.

And Langdon, and her co-host Karl Stefanovich strongly denied these reports during an interview at Show Kyle and Jackie Oh on Wednesday.

“It wasn’t an attack,” said the audacious radio host Langdan Kyle Sundaylands.

“I’m a lot, but I’m not a diva,” the 42-year-old added.

“The election is being conducted by the editorial office, and it is quite normal. Alicia [Loxley] and Pete [Overton] will do a great job. ‘

Carl also posted a Daily Telegraph report that Ellie was hysterical after learning that Melbourne news reader Alicia Locksley had held an election night in front of her.

“I’m just horrified that a woman like Eli, who is just completely dedicated to her job and works so hard, and is a wonderful mom, is just thrown away, for what? For trying to do her job?

He later added: “There is no one on Channel 9 who would see her hysterical because it didn’t happen.”

According to The Sunday Telegraph, Allison was “not happy” that the coveted concert on the eve of the election with the prime-time evening news reader Sydney’s Peter Overton was given to another presenter.

Langdon is reportedly so disappointed with Locksley’s new role that two weeks ago she expressed her displeasure with Nine news director Darren Wick.

Nine have already denied claims by the Daily Mail Australia, and a spokeswoman insisted there was no hysteria on the part of Langdon.

It is rumored that in the near future the Today show will undergo a number of changes, including beauty queen Gray-Lee Biggs will become a permanent weather presenter.

Entertainment reporter Brooke Bonnie could also become a “traveling reporter” for the show, reports Sunday Telegraph.

However, a source told the publication that this is not bad news for the show, where Nine said that this year he found his “mood” again.

“I found my mood today,” said one source.
