Russia continues shelling of civilian areas in Ukraine on Sunday, as The leader of Ukraine listed all the affected towns and cities in his nightly military address. UK intelligence has warned that it is not yet clear when that is Vladimir Putin has enough resources to withstand the current attacks by the Ukrainian army.
On Sunday night, President Zelensky said he would continue to ensure victories for Ukraine as Kiev forces liberated areas in Kharkiv in the past few weeks.
In his evening address to the people of Ukraine, he said: “Perhaps some of you think that after a series of victories, we now have a kind of lull.”
“But there will be no lull. Preparations are underway for the next series… After all, Ukraine must be free. Everything.”
Currently, Ukraine is preparing for new victories against Russia, as it has been reported that soldiers are on the eastern bank of the Askil River, which is an important development as it threatens the Russian occupation of Donbass.
The river crossing is important for Ukraine’s counteroffensive, as it flows into the Seversky Danets River, which runs through Luhansk Oblast in the Donbass.
On Sunday evening, the Ukrainian Armed Forces wrote that the Ukrainian military “broke through Oskil. Since yesterday, Ukraine controls the eastern bank.”
Luhansk governor Siarhei Gaidai also wrote: “Luhansk region is nearby. Decoupling is not far off.”

Britain said the Russian military had expanded its strikes on civilian areas as it continued to lose territory in Ukraine, and said it was likely to continue to strike new locations.
The Department of Defense said: “As it faces setbacks on the front lines, Russia has likely expanded the locations it is prepared to strike in an attempt to directly undermine the morale of the Ukrainian people and government.”
Ukrainian authorities reported that Russia used artillery to strike towns and villages in southeastern Ukraine, including civilian infrastructure in the city of Zaporozhye.
The Zaporozhye NPP has caused concern as any missiles hitting the plant could cause a nuclear accident as it is the largest nuclear facility in Europe.
The United Nations nuclear agency has inspected the plant to ensure it is safe and will have a permanent presence in the area to monitor the situation.

In an interview with the program “60 Minutes”, which was broadcast on Sunday evening, the American leader said: “Victory in the war in Ukraine means the complete withdrawal of Russia from Ukraine and the recognition of sovereignty. They are defeating Russia.
“Russia has proven not to be as competent and capable as many thought it would be.”
Mr Biden also asked Russian leader Vladimir Putin not to launch nuclear weapons to win the war.
The President of the United States said: “No need. No need. No need. It would change the face of warfare unlike anything since World War II.”
