The game uses the same rules as Scrabble, where only real words are allowed in both guesses and results.
If you receive a letter in the right place and form the correct word, the square will turn green.
But if the guessed letter is in the word, but not in the right place, the square turns yellow.
letters which are wrong are grayed out to help the process elimination in six attempts.

Wordle New York Times
The game was created by software engineer Josh Wardle, who sold the popular word game to the New York Times after it became a global sensation.
In a statement on Twitter, he wrote: “Since launching Wordle, I’ve been blown away by the response from everyone who has played.
“The game has become bigger than I could have ever imagined (which I suppose is no mean feat considering I made the game for an audience of one person).
“It’s been incredible to watch the game bring so much joy to so many, and I’m so grateful for the personal stories some of you have shared with me – from how Wordle brings together long-distance family members, sparks friendship rivalry and supports recovery.
“On the other hand, I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t stunning.”
