A thug got instant karma after bullying an elderly man who accidentally closed the lift door in front of him as a group of men brutally beat him in the face Taiwan.

An aggressive young man named Hu was entering the elevator at a KTV karaoke club in Taichung when the frail man closed the door.

Hu later left the elevator with his comrades, but continued to throw his full weight and tackle the old man in the lobby.

One man was caught on camera delivering a final blow to the bully’s head before leaving him incapacitated.

Taichung police arrived at the scene after the fight and took Hu, the old man and a group of guards away for questioning at the station.

Officers said the fat man in the black suit called his “friends who work upstairs” for back-up during the confrontation with Hu.

They also debunked claims that the old man was an ex-gangster who called out his mafia friends.

Taichung police arrived at the scene after the fight and took Hu, the old man and a group of henchmen away for questioning at the station

Hu, meanwhile, reportedly suffered minor injuries and scratches. Both sides have refused to press charges against each other.

But a police spokesman said Hu “may be prosecuted for breaching the Public Order Act”.

They added: “Parties involved in the altercation did not wish to press charges. They settled their differences, but officers continue to deal with the case.

“The suspects have been questioned at Taichung City Police Station and police will check CCTV to see if any other offenses have been committed.”
