London, 11 July 2022: Sorted, Delivery Experience Platform, just announced the appointment of technology innovator Peter Ennis as its new Chief Technology Officer to scale its cloud platform globally. Its focus on SaaS innovation will enable Sorted to offer a best-in-class offering to both SMBs and retail enterprises as demand continues to grow.
At that time where 63% consumers say that poor delivery service would prevent them from buying from a company again, more brands are using software that simplifies e-commerce. Peter Ennis has experience building world-class cloud software and has most recently held senior technical leadership roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and The Hut Group (THG). His appointment as CTO will continue to roll out the Delivery Experience Platform to a broader base, offering best-in-class delivery and returns solutions to retailers of all sizes.
In June 2022, the company’s shipments through the Ship platform increased by 49% compared to the previous year, while the Track product increased by 127% during the same period. Retailers turn to Sorted for more efficient carrier management and delivery tracking systems to reduce pressure on warehouses and customer service departments.
The platform, which has seen a 114% increase in customer numbers over the past three years as demand for e-commerce and online delivery grows, now aims to provide an exceptional delivery experience for small and medium-sized businesses around the world. During this period, Sorted also added Colin Tenwick to the team as non-executive chairman, opened offices in London and appointed Carmen Carey as its new CEO.
