Hangzhou Spark and Philadelphia Fusion each won 3-1 on Sunday on the final day of qualifying for the Overwatch League Midseason Madness tournament.
Both teams finished above the cutoff line in the East Division and will participate in a double-elimination game scheduled for next week.
The Spark are tied with the Seoul Dynasty and Shanghai Dragons at 9-3 after defeating the Los Angeles Valiant on Sunday. Spark claimed 2-1 victories at Ilyos and Kings Row before dropping a 3-2 decision at the Royal Circuit. They bounced back and wrapped up the match with a 1-0 win at New Queen Street.
Dynasty went 2-0 on Oasis before dropping the next three cards. Philadelphia won 2-1 at Midtown, 3-2 at Circuit Royal and 1-0 at New Queen Street.
Action in the West will continue on Sunday with two matches:
–The Boston Rebellion against the New York Excelsior
–London Spitfire vs. Dallas Fuel
