Jackson Warne, 23, also seems to be winning the love game with the late woman’s son Shane Warne seemed impressed as he spoke to girlfriend Kia Broadsmith over the weekend.

At one point, Jackson squatted next to the budding influencer and appeared to lean in for a kiss while she sat on the casino floor.

Jackson and Kia first became Instagram official when they announced their relationship last December.

And Shane appeared to approve of his son’s romance, writing ‘Aww love you guys’ under their debut post as a couple.

Meanwhile, Jackson’s mother, Simone Callahan, praised her son for competing in the World Series of Poker.

The mother of three shared a series of photos on Instagram on Sunday, congratulating Jackson on his abilities.

“Beyond proud of our handsome Jackson, he has been playing poker for as long as I can remember,” she wrote.

Simone remembered Shane teaching the kids how to play poker when they were little.

“Once the kids started playing cards, Shane taught them all how to play poker, they all loved it, especially Jackson,” she said.

“When he got older, he played in little tournaments with his dad, at school, with friends, family, wherever there was a chance to play!”

Simone went on to say that it was Shane’s dream for the father-son duo to be on the series together.

“When Jackson turned 21, he and Shane dreamed of playing in the 2020 World Series together,” she continued.

She said Shane bought him a ticket for his 21st birthday just for Covid to delay the streak.

“This year, Jackson was with his dad watching from heaven and I know how proud he would be of Jackson,” said Simone.

“When Jackson turned 21, he and Shane dreamed of playing in the 2020 World Series together,” she continued.

“You showed up under very sad circumstances, mustered up enough courage to play in the tournament you thought you would and dreamed of playing with your father.”

Jackson made it to the third day of the tournament.

“Keep following your love of poker, keep showing up and I hope one day your dream comes true,” she concluded.

“We love you so much and are so proud, love you so much Jackson.”

Jackson won the tournament early after taking home US$87,300 (A$130,000) on the first day.

“We did it! we put together our first ever [World Series of Poker] main event!’ he captioned a photo of poker chips on Instagram.

He continued: “Day 1 bagging is over [USD] $87,300. I will know how many participants there will be tomorrow, as well as the average stack.

SAS Australia star fulfills vow to carry on late Australian cricketer’s legacy by winning big in poker

Jackson thanked his followers for all their wonderful messages, saying they “mean a lot.”

Shane, considered one of the greatest cricketers of all time, died of a heart attack on March 4 while on holiday in Koh Samui, Thailand. He was 52.

Thai police said he was staying at the villa with four friends and when one of the group tried to wake Shane around 5pm local time, he was unresponsive.

“I have been playing poker since I was young and [Shane] taught me how to play because we were on planes, you don’t have much space on planes, so you take a deck of cards and play,” Jackson told Daily Mail Australia in 2020
