Roxy Yatsenko’s mother Doreen begins work on a Yeezy-inspired home

Roxy Yatsenko always been a big fan Kim Kardashian.

And now her mother, Doreen, has been taking style inspiration from Kim and her ex-husband Kanye West for the $7.8 million home she is building across the street from her daughter Vaucluse mansion worth $6.6 million.

Doreen said her state-of-the-art four-bedroom, five-bathroom home is set to be an “architectural masterpiece”.

Renderings of the mansion, designed by prestigious Sydney architect William Smart, show the house will have an all-white exterior, bold angular shafts, sprawling terraces and soft rounded edges.

“The architecture will be bright, light-filled and multi-layered,” Doreen said Nine.

“This is a home that will be sculptural, functional and casual in both aesthetic and layout.”

The new Doreen Palace will also have a pool, gym, media room and study area.

The mansion is directly across the street from the PR queen’s $6.6 million mansion in Vaucluse

Doreen explained that a spiral staircase will connect all levels of the multi-story layout.

She said the architects carefully built “sustainability measures” into the project.

These include photovoltaic panels that convert sunlight into electricity, rainwater harvesting and double glazing.

Doreen hired her daughter’s favorite Sydney interior designer, Blaney North, to complete the look of the home, which she hopes will be completed in two years.

The new mansion will replace the $5 million Vaucluse cottage Doreen bought in 2021.

Together, Doreen and ex-husband Nick built a lucrative empire in the Australian rag trade during their 38-year marriage.

Yatsenko’s estate is believed to have included a cluster of commercial properties in Sydney’s Beaconsfield, Alexandria and Ultima, each worth between $15 million and $20 million.

The couple, who divorced in 2011, sold a collection of investment properties in their names last year for a staggering $78 million.
