Police are appealing after a van was left “significantly damaged” in an arson attack

Shortly after 7.20pm, police received reports of a van on fire in the area of ​​Greenan Road which had caused significant damage.

“Fortunately, no one was in the van at the time and there were no reports of injuries,” Sergeant Berry said.

“Our inquiries are ongoing and we would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident or who may have CCTV footage to contact us on 101 quoting reference number 1657 of 23/07/22.”
