A lovely 30 degree Pinot Noir
£8 Co-op
5*
What a wonderful wine – buy it! The blackberry fruitiness adds a fresh flavor, but there are also some notes of toffee and dark chocolate. A nice wine that surpasses many French Pinot Noirs from Burgundy.

An irresistible Fairtrade Sauvignon Blanc
£6.50 Co-op
5*
It’s a steal and worth getting in a full bag. Simple, refreshing and fruity with apple and melon flavors.

A charming French Vignier
£8 Co-op
4*
A very pleasant Viognier that is not as intense in flavor as many wines made from this grape variety. Expect flavors of toast and honey alongside fruity pear, melon and peach with a hint of flowers. Balanced and pleasant drinking.

An irresistible Fairtrade organic Malbec
£7.50 Co-op
4*
A smooth and fragrant red wine with flavors of blackberry and blackcurrant along with black cherry and a hint of toffee. Add some black pepper to spice things up. Pair with curries and ham pies.

Irresistible Gavi
£8.50 Co-op
4*
Gavi is a really good Italian wine that eclipsed the pear flavor of Italian Pinot Grigio. Gavi is made from the Cortese grape variety and its aroma offers more fruity depth with creamy apple and melon followed by some mandarin.

Irresistible Mount Benson Shiraz
£8 Co-op
4*
Its deep purple color transforms the aromas of undiluted blackcurrant juice along with coffee and toffee. It’s all there in the flavor along with vanilla ice cream and some sweet spiciness. The blueberry flavor doesn’t make it too sweet and adds a hint of tang. Delicious wine.

The irresistible Prosecco Special Cuvee
£9 Co-op
4*
The Co-op’s own label Prosecco is the best-selling wine across the range. Which is no surprise, as Italian sparkling Prosecco is still the top choice for fizz drinkers in the UK, and if they opt for the co-op version, they’re in for a treat. Gently fizzy and delicately fruity, it’s a nice sip when you add the deeper flavors of pear and pastry.
