Manchester-based customer engagement specialist for the legal sector, mmadigital, has rebranded to Blume as part of its ongoing growth strategy
The relaunch of the brand comes at a time of rapid business growth thanks to private equity investment from Rockpool Investments in February this year.
The combination of technology, data and people sets businesses apart from the competition and has become the driving force behind rebranding.
Multi-award-winning agency Studio North worked with Blume’s core team to develop and execute the brand strategy, led by Chief Marketing Officer Debbie Britton.
The new logo, brand guidelines, internal signage, stationery and promotional materials were delivered and deployed in less than six months. New modernized and updated site www.blumegroup.co.uk was also designed to be more dynamic and comfortable.
Britton said: “We believe that the new name, along with a distinctive brand identity and website, demonstrates how the business has evolved and will help Blume expand in the future.
“The new brand is fresher, more modern and resonates with who we are – a forward-thinking business that invests in our people and leverages innovation and technology, without losing our personal touch.”
Des Derry, CEO and founder of Blume, added: “With a solid track record and a solid management team, we are now in another phase of our business trajectory.
“We realized we had outgrown the mmadigital brand, and to celebrate this new chapter, we decided to update our company name to reflect who we are now and to help the company in its next phase of growth.”
“While our name and look have changed, our commitment to our customers’ success will never change. Looking ahead is business as usual with the same expertise and specialist services offered to our law firms’ clients in the same professional and friendly manner they have come to expect.”
Blume’s management team includes Des Derry, CEO and Founder, Mark Capel, Chairman, Steve Evans, CFO, and Debbie Britton, Chief Marketing Officer. Entrepreneur and Chief Product Officer Erin Short leads the development of the data and technology product portfolio.
Blume’s West Didsbury office currently employs 100 people and the business is currently in takeover talks, aiming to reach a turnover of £30m by the end of 2023.
