A West Australian mixed martial artist has died in Bali after crashing his scooter in a drainage ditch, where he was found unresponsive the next day.
The body of 26-year-old Keith Coughlan was spotted by a local resident as he walked down a road in North Coot around 5am on Sunday morning.

Police are investigating whether a Fremantle man was driving drunk after seven bottles of beer were found at the scene of a crash on the south coast of Bali, 9News reports.
Just a month earlier, Mr. Coughlan had won his first MMA fight at Canggu Island Fight Night 23.
The shocking revelation comes just days after a 47-year-old Australian man also died in Bali after plummeting four stories from his hotel room to the pool deck below.
The man was reportedly seen “staggering” in room 403 at the Haven Hotel in Seminyak, Bali, before collapsing around 8pm local time on Wednesday night.
Witness Sara Vinata told CNN Indonesia that she was on the hotel’s pool terrace when she heard people shouting and banging at the fourth-floor windows around 7:45 p.m.
She told the network that she and the hotel security guard Ahmad Sopi discovered that the noise was coming from room 403.

Ms Vinata said the two were trying to get into the room when they heard a loud noise from the pool deck below. She said she and Mr Soppy went back to the pool where they found the Australian.
A nurse at Kuta Health Center II said the tourist died at the scene after suffering a serious head injury and multiple broken bones.
Kuta police are investigating the man’s death and have received CCTV footage of him “staggering alone in hotel room number 403”.
Bali has also been rocked by the death of British tourist James Criddle, 31, who died in a catastrophic cycling accident.

He suffered head injuries in the crash on July 15 and was left in a coma after seven hours of surgery, sadly dying on Thursday.
His family say he has 25 skull fractures and kidney failure. He also has a broken arm, cheekbone and a sprained jaw from the accident.
Australian tourist Joshua Connell died in Bali earlier this month after he fell 15 meters from his hotel pool in Phuket, Thailand and landed on the tin roof of a cafe.
Mr Connell was seen balancing on the pool fence moments before he fell.
