“And now for the story that’s going viral. “You will never see something like this in Australia: a TV presenter shocks the audience by slurring words and looking disheveled on air,” Stefanovic began.

After reviewing the footage, he brazenly added: “It’s not a knife…”

“It’s not a knife” is an Australian slang term that means you can easily outdo what you’ve just seen, similar to the American phrase “hold my beer”.

It is taken from a scene in the 1986 Australian film Crocodile Dundee, where a petty criminal tries to rob protagonist Mick Dundee (Paul Hogan) with a throwing knife on the streets of New York.

Mick looks at the small arms, then pulls out a huge hunting knife in the backcountry and says, “It’s not a knife, that is to say knife, and the would-be robber runs away.

CBS suspended Ms. Kovar pending an investigation, and she announced on Monday that she had decided not to renew her contract, which expires on July 31.

She told local New York newspaper The Times Union that a combination of grief and grueling hours on screen was behind her downfall.

However, the show’s producer reportedly told NBC that she was often “intoxicated” at work — but never more so than on Saturday morning.
