This Friday night, popular and local heavyweight Jonathan Rodriguez takes on tough veteran Oscar Vasquez in the main event of a huge night of professional boxing on Friday, September 23rd at The Wind Creek Events Center in Bethlehem, PA.

The card is promoted by King’s Promotions.

Rodriguez, of Bethlehem, has a record of 10-1-1 with three knockouts. The 23-year-old is a four-year pro and will be looking for the biggest win of his career, and to do so in front of his hometown fans.

This will be his fifth appearance at The Events Center and he is coming off a six-round unanimous decision over Jose Flores Canes on March 11 at The Wind Creek Events Center.

Vasquez, of Sun Valley, Nev., is 15-3-1 with three knockouts. The 35-year-old is coming off a 6-1 win over Jose Toribio and is now looking to get back into the win column after a unanimous decision loss to undefeated Ja’Rick Quinn on January 17, 2020 in Sloan, Iowa.

A host of undefeated King’s Promotions prospects will be featured in fights on the undercard.

Rising lightweight James Bernadine takes on an opponent to be named in the eight-round featherweight contest

Bernadine, of Lancaster, Pa., is 7-0-1 with four knockouts. The 29-year-old has struggled to match and has wins over Osvaldo Morales (4-0), Edgar Torres (8-2-1) and in his fight where he won a unanimous decision over Kenny Robles (9-1) 20 May in Philadelphia.

Also in the eight-round bout will be undefeated junior middleweight Joseph Jackson vs. Anthony Lenka.

Jackson, of Greensboro, North Carolina, is 17-0 with 13 knockouts. Jackson, 33, defeated Manrec Goldston (5-0-1) and won a nationally televised decision over Derrick Colemon Jr. (11-0). In Jackson’s last fight, he stopped Terrence Williams in the opening round on June 5, 2021 in Philadelphia.

Lenk, of Niagara Falls, New York, is 17-9 with seven knockouts. Lenk, 34, has quality wins over Rufino Flores (1-0), Danny Escobar (6-0), Boyd Henley (8-0-1) and Edwin Soto (13-2-2). Lenk retires after a 10-round loss to Ian Green on June 11 in Miami.

In a six-round fightJulian Gonzalez (6-0-1, 6 KOs) of Reading, PA takes on Rondale Huberd (14-23-3, 8 KOs) of Duluth, MN in a featherweight contest.

Also in the six-round bout, undefeated light heavyweight Joseph George (11-0, 7 KOs) of Houston, Texas will face an opponent to be named.

In bouts of four rounds,

Tanjhae Teasley (3-0, 2 KOs) of Allentown, PA takes on Macon Oller Di Silva (1-6, 1 KO) of Concord, NH in a welterweight bout.
