After the 10 a.m. call, firefighters put out a big fire at an advertising enterprise property on Barlow Moor Road, Chorlton. Five fire engines from Strafford, Sale, Salford, Moss Side and Withington were called to the scene and crews were confronted with a large fire and difficult conditions due to the heat and smoke when they arrived.

Working with Scorpion device support, firefighters The fire was extinguished within an hour.

Crews remained in attendance until approximately 4:00 p.m., putting out fire, checking hot spots and investigating.

A GMFRS spokesman said: “As always, we worked closely with our partners from Greater Manchester Police, North West Ambulance Service and Electricity North West to resolve the incident quickly and make the scene safe, ensuring no one was hurt.”

The incident was managed to be brought under control by the operational team.
