Eric and Ivanka Trump pay tribute to “brilliant” mom Ivanna with photos of their childhood

Ivana Trump, model and first husband of the former president Donald Trumpher children fondly remember the ex-commander-in-chief.

Trump died on Thursday aged 73 of suspected cardiac arrest after being found ‘unconscious and unresponsive’ New York townhouse.

Her only daughter Ivanka Trumppublished in Instagram shortly after a series of photos surfaced of the two of them together throughout the Trumps’ lives.

“Heartbroken over the death of my mother,” she wrote. “Mum was brilliant, charming, passionate and wickedly funny. She demonstrated strength, tenacity and determination in every action she took. She lived life to the fullest – she never refused an opportunity to laugh and dance. I will miss her always and will always keep her memory in our hearts.”

Her youngest son, Eric Trump, did the same on Thursday night.

“Our mother was an incredible woman – a business force, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, a caring mother and friend. Ivana Trump survived. She fled communism and embraced this country. She taught her children courage and fortitude, compassion and determination. She will be greatly missed by her mother, her three children and her ten grandchildren.”

Trump’s eldest son, Donald Jr., has yet to comment on the news.

Earlier today, Ivana was remembered by her ex-husband in a statement.

“It is with great sadness that I inform all those who loved her, and there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York,” Trump Sr. wrote. “She was a wonderful, beautiful and amazing woman who led a remarkable and inspiring life.”

“Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric. She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her. Rest in peace, Ivan!”

Her divorce lawyer, Ira Garr, remembered her fondly: “I was very sad to hear that. When I worked with her, it was a really big part of my life. I represented her interests after the divorce,” he said.

“She was an ordinary person. Grounded. When we went to the restaurant, she always chatted with the waiters.

“She was not a snob, she never held herself above other people. A young woman came into my office one day and I asked her where she got my name and she said, “From Ivana Trump.”

“I asked, ‘How do you know Ivan?’ and she said no. She said she saw Ivana in the restaurant, followed her into the bathroom and asked, “Who was your divorce attorney?” and Ivana said: “Ira Gar.” Call my assistant tomorrow and she’ll give you his number.’ She was sociable with people.

Garr noted that he was invited to Trump’s third wedding to Riccardo Mazzucchelli in 1995.

Two people familiar with the matter told the AP that police are investigating whether Ivana Trump fell down the stairs and believe her death was accidental.

She was found unconscious near the stairs in the home, the people said. The official cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner.

At 12:40 p.m., officers found Ivana unresponsive and were called to her Upper East Side townhouse for a well-being check, police said. New York Post.

Ivana was last photographed in New York on June 22, when she was seen leaving an Upper East Side townhouse and being escorted to a hair salon.
