Good morning, Britain Ed Balls predicted our Island of love winners this year – and we don’t think he’ll be alone!
The ex-politician was just as smitten with the ITV2 dating show as the rest of us, having recently given his own a very valid opinion about Luka Bish.
But last night, after Davide Sanclimenti made Ekin-Su Culculoglu homemade tiramisu and made it all official, he was truly won over.
“We all, last night when it was tiramisu moment when he shook the yellow pillow and Dami [Hope] came up, we punched the air and said, ‘They’ve won,'” Ed, 55, told GMB.
“It’s a moment, it’s a win-win moment for Ekin-Su and David.”
However, he set his sights on another finalist.
Danica [Taylor]- I think Danica, you know, she’s been in the last three, but I think Danica in the next couple of days, I think she’s really, really cool and strong and she’s been really persistent and I think the country will come out there to love her. So I wonder, he thought.
Davide and Ekin-Su are officially exclusive, with the couple sharing a (literally) sweet moment on Sunday night’s episode.
As night fell, David asked Ekin-Soo to join him around the mini campfire, prompting her to joke, “Oh, no, not at the campfire.”
“Why not, it’s our place,” David joked before telling her, “I wanted to bring you here because it’s where we first kissed.”
“Should I be afraid?” Ekin-Su asked, looking, it must be said, horrified and confused.
“You did it?!” she asked in shock – before David pointed to the words on the dessert which translated to ‘Be mine’.
“If you eat it, it means yes,” he said.
Ekin-Soo repeatedly asked if he had made dessert before saying, “So, yes.”
After sharing a kiss, Ekin-Su jumped up and said to the islanders who were looking at him, “So… we’re exclusive, I guess!” – to which everyone cheered and applauded.
Fans believe the pair are sure to go to the final – but who could join them? Only time will tell!
