Brian Austin Green says his partner Sharna Burgess is feeling “great” and “really great” after giving birth to son Zane

Brian Austin Green shared an update on the health of his partner Sharna Burgess and their newborn son Zayn via a message posted to his Instagram Story on Thursday.

The 48-year-old performer wrote a short message: “I want to thank everyone for the good wishes. Sharna and Zayn are doing great. Sharna is truly amazing.”

The 37-year-old actress and professional dancer welcomed a baby boy into their lives last month, and they have since shared several pictures with their son on their Instagram accounts.

Green also sat down for an interview with E! Newswhere he noted that Burgess has already bonded with his sons Noah, Bodhi and Journey, aged nine, eight and five, who he shares with ex-wife Megan Fox.

The actor stated that “[Sharna’s] was a wonderful stepmother to the three youngest I have.’

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star then revealed that the professional dancer was initially unsure if she wanted to become a mother.

He recalled: “She said, ‘I don’t know when I have my own child if I’ll be able to do all the things you have to do.’

Green went on to say that afterwards the professional dancer “just crashed into it”.

In October 2020, the actor and Burgess were first introduced by their mutual business manager.

The latter confirmed that she was in a relationship in December, when she was also first seen in public with her now-boyfriend.

The couple became Instagram official last January, and they competed together on the last season of Dancing with the Stars.

Last Sunday, Burgess shared a photo of herself holding her son on her Instagram account and wrote a long message to express her love for her son.

She began, “I don’t have the words to do it justice yet.” I know I look at him and I’m moved to tears by how wide open my heart is and how deeply and unconditionally I love him.’

The media personality continued: “I know I will never be the same again. I realize I never knew this kind of love or ability existed, and it’s wonderfully overwhelming to process.

“Now I understand with all my heart everything my mom ever told me about how a mother likes to be different. You know, that whole ‘you’ll understand when you have kids’ thing parents say… now I get it,” she wrote.

Burgess concluded by writing, “I will love him and worry about him until my last breath and beyond. Heaven is a place on Earth and I have found it.’
