Dallas Stars Stanley Cup Odds: +3300
It’s time for the Dallas Stars to make some noise.
Stars led Calgary Flames to seven appearances in last year’s playoffs thanks to world-class goaltending Jake Ettingerwho has clearly become the best this season.
He posted an almost unbelievable .954 save percentage and 1.81 GAA against one of the league’s best offenses last season and forced the Stars to a seven game shutout. Despite the loss of players like John Klingberg and Alexander Radulavthis is a Stars team that is still loaded with talent despite some youth in the lineup.
Jason Robertson, Rupp Hintz and a massive revival from Joe Pavelski All were huge reasons why the Stars were able to do what they did last year, and that trio will be heavily counted on to contribute next year.
Miro Heiskanen will also be another player the Stars will need to contribute next year as well as a similar partner Ryan Sutter, Eza Lindelland Gianni Hakanpaa.
Head coach Rick Bowness came off the bench and now Pete DeBoer will look to lead them through the first round of the playoffs.
Are we betting the Stars will win the cup? I like this team and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them make the playoffs and make the second round, but I’m not sure they’re strong enough to go much further.
